Useful info – Easter

During the Basketball Festival meals are provided, starting with dinner on 6 April 2023 and finishing with breakfast on 9 April 2023. In order to receive meals, the teams need to show the meal tickets to the restaurants. Please keep the restaurants clean and select the trash as marked on the bags.

Breakfast: 6.30 – 10.00 – breakfast can be requested as take-away meal.
Lunch: 11:00 – 15:00
Dinner: 17:00 – 21:30

Dinner at the Opening Ceremony and disco (on 7 April 2023)
On the day of the Opening Ceremony every team receives dinner in the sportshall (tortilla and mineral water).

There might be some changes in the time and place of the programs. In such case, we will inform the teams in time.

Medical assistance is provided during the matches of the Easter Youth Basketball Cup event. In case a smaller injury happens to any of the players the coaches may request medical assistance. First aid responders are stationed at all the fields.

If serious injuries or head injuries happen, please call immediately the number 112. (AMBULANCE)

In the Czech Republic, the general emergency phone number is 112, where an ambulance, police and fire departments can be called free of charge.

HOSPITAL (0-24)
There is a well equipped regional hospital in Brno:
University Hospital Brno – Children’s Hospital
Jihlavská 20, CZ – 625 00 BRNO

The Hospital provides 24 hours medical service. The players who might have a more serious injury will be treated in Brno County Hospital.

Every participant must have insurance for the Festival period.

Bus services in the city

The participants, the coaches and the parents (every delegation member) of the Easter Youth Basketball Cup can use Public Transportation of Brno free of charge with armband.
If you cannot show your armband to the driver/controller you have to buy a bus ticket.
You can use this free transport (Public Transport of City of Brno) from 6th April to 9th April 2023.
